Bark Place offers guests full use of our daycare space to burn off energy and play with friends. This helps to ease the stresses associated with being away from home. At night, they are treated to a safe and comfortable crate, a fluffy blanket and soft soothing music.

Non-skid flooring is used to prevent slipping which can lead to injury and scraped paw pads. It provides a safe and sanitary foundation for your pooch to pounce, leap and roll around to their heart’s content. Our outdoor run allows dogs to take frequent potty breaks and doesn’t confuse them by making them eliminate themselves indoors.

Bark Place welcomes all dogs regardless of size and breed! Safety is our top priority so we ask that all new customers schedule a trial in advance for a general meet and greet. This will give us an initial assessment of your dog’s temperament and to gauge their social interactions within an appropriate, designated play group.

Trials take place on Saturdays and may last up to one hour and per city of Chicago regulations, we must have a hard copy of your dog’s updated vaccines on file. Your dog(s) will interact with staff and some of the regular guests at Bark Place. It allows your dog(s) to get comfortable with new surroundings and fosters a sense of security when you return to pick him/her up, as this will help them to understand you will be back.

While the preliminary trial is important, it may take your dog(s) a few days or weeks to adjust to a new space and new friends. We will closely monitor your dog(s) and regularly communicate with you to ensure Bark Place is the best environment for your pet.
